Dewatering Technician

The Randalls Mill is a 1.3Mtpa processing facility based at Silver Lake’s Mount Monger Operations, 80km South-East of Kalgoorlie. With a 3-stage crushing circuit, dual Ball mills, gravity separation and CIL circuit, it is maintained at an exceptional 98% availability inclusive of planned shutdown events. With varied underground and open pit ore sources, the Randalls Mill is a stable and consistently performing asset. THE ROLE:We are looking for a dependable Dewatering Technician to join the close-knit Processing team at the Randalls Gold Processing Facility (RGPF), working a 5:2 Kalgoorlie residential roster. You will be responsible for carrying out control and monitoring of the dewatering process to ensure effective and safe water removal from processing circuits. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have the desire and willingness to work across multiple circuits to develop an understanding of process operations while contributing to a cohesive work environment.Key responsibilities of this role will include:Operate dewatering equipment to ensure it performs well and follows safety protocols.Monitor and control dewatering processes for effective water removal from processing circuits.Work with other plant operators to improve gold recovery processes.Identify and fix issues with the dewatering equipment and processes.Act quickly to fix problems and keep operations running smoothly.Keep detailed records of dewatering operations, including equipment readings and maintenance.Follow safety rules to ensure a safe working environment.Join safety meetings and help make safety practices better over time.ABOUT YOUAs a Day Service Operator, you are personable, have initiative, and can develop excellent working relationships with your team.
