The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora, in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.Job Description:Vault Minerals is seeking a qualified Project Geologist to join our team at the Darlot Gold Mine. In this vital role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of mine geology, including grade control, growth and development. The primary focus will be on updating and maintaining geological data and lode wireframes to support grade control model updates, as well as coordinating resource definition (ResDef) and grade control (GC) drilling programs. You will contribute to the identification and expansion of Reserves and Resources by delivering accurate and predictive geological models.This role is offered on an 8/6 or 14/14 roster - FIFO from Perth.Key responsibilities will include:Promote and maintain a culture of safety, adhering to Vault Minerals' safety standards.Create near-mine exploration targets utilising all data available, maintain a prioritised pipeline of targets and written detailed records of each target and progress to date.Schedule, plan and implement grade control, resource extension and exploratory drilling programs using diamond drilling methods. Deliver grade control models as per the mine schedule.Log diamond drill core and RC/sludge chips to a consistent and high standard when required.  Train other staff to ensure a high standard.Assist the Senior Mine Geologist with ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly reconciliation of tonnages, grade and contained metal.Maintain the geological data filing/recording system and databases with the timely reporting of information as required.Utilise face, backs and wall mapping, in addition to diamond drillhole data, to interpret the geology for modelling.Update and maintain orebody, faults, lithology modelling as required for block model updates and biannual/annual mineral resource estimates.Deputise for the Senior Mine Geologist/Geology Superintendent in their absence as required.About you:You are a results-driven Project Geologist with strong expertise in an underground gold environment.
