The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora, in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.Job Description:Vault Minerals is seeking a skilled Underground Mine Geologist to join our team at the Darlot Gold Mine. In this key position, you will deliver high-quality underground mine geology services while working closely with the broader mining team to optimize operational returns. Your contributions will focus on developing mining strategies that reduce dilution and enhance the recovery of economic resources. This role is offered on a 8/6 roster - FIFO from Perth.Key responsibilities will include:Promote and maintain a culture of safety, adhering to Vault Minerals' safety standards.Meet daily grade control requirements, face mapping/sampling, airleg sampling, stope inspections, accurate ore allocation.Collate and deliver accurate production and geological data for daily and weekly reports.Co-ordinate with the Mining and Haulage Contractor, for efficient ore pad parcel delivery from the Darlot MOP.Assist Technical Services to implement a mining methodology that minimises dilution and maximises recovery of economic resources.  Maintain the geological data filing/recording system and databases with the timely reporting of information as required.Actively participate in QAQC processes and ensure data validity and JORC compliant datasets.Log diamond drill core and RC/sludge chips to a consistent and high standard. Provide guidance and training as required with junior team membersAssist the Senior Mine Geologist with ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly reconciliation of tonnages, grade and contained metal.Key factors to your success include:Minimum 3 years industry experience and 1 year in an underground gold environment.Bachelor’s degree Geology or related fieldExperienced with Vulcan, Acquire and Leapfrog software – preferredWA Driver’s Licence – C ClassAustralian Working Rights With an exciting future ahead, Vault Minerals is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining industry.   • Bachelor’s degree Geology or related field

  • WA Driver’s Licence – C Class
  • Australian Working Rights
