Job Description: The Senior Environment Advisor will join the King of the Hills/Darlot Environment team, supporting multi-site compliance activities, providing functional support and technical advice to all personnel to implement the Environment Management System and meet the Environment Policy objectives.This role will be offered on a FIFO 8/6 Roster based at our King of the Hills Operation.Point of hire: PERTH, WAKey responsibilities will include:Provide support and guidance to site management and operational teams in all aspects of environmental management and compliance obligation managementAssist with the development of regulatory approvals, monitoring systems and regular reportingMaintain site environmental obligations registers, environmental management system and monitoring dataLead in the development and implementation of environmental and cultural awareness programmesEngage with Traditional Owner stakeholdersFacilitate and participate in community engagement opportunities when requiredCoordinate and manage environmental contractors and consultants working at our operationsConduct environmental compliance inspections across all areas of the operationsAssist with mine closure planning and facilitation of rehabilitation activities  Key factors to your success include:Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or similar5+ years’ experience in an environmental function within the mining industryAn in-depth knowledge of Western Australian environment and heritage legislative requirementsExperience in stakeholder engagement, including coordination of heritage surveys and involvement in heritage agreementsGIS experience/capability is essential (ArcGIS Pro)High level of capability in preparing regulatory reporting requirementsExperience in developing and delivering environmental approvalsExperience managing environmental monitoring programmes and practical skillsDemonstrable level of competency in Microsoft Office suiteTechnical understanding of monitoring equipment and analysing resultsWA C class driver’s license (manual transmission) With an exciting future ahead, Vault Minerals is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining industry. Job Description:
The Senior Environment Advisor will join the King of the Hills/Darlot Environment team, supporting multi-site compliance activities, providing functional support and technical advice to all personnel to implement the Environment Management System and meet the Environment Policy objectives.

 Key factors to your success include:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an environmental function within the mining industry

  • GIS experience/capability is essential (ArcGIS Pro)

  • Demonstrable level of competency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Technical understanding of monitoring equipment and analysing results
  • WA C class driver’s license (manual transmission)
