Job Description:Vault Minerals is seeking an Open Pit Project Geologist for the King of the Hills Gold Mine. This role will focus on managing grade control drilling programs, ensuring optimal ore extraction, and supporting drill program planning, reconciliations, and geological modelling of the KOTH deposit. The successful candidate will collaborate with technical teams to optimize recovery, minimize ore loss, and contribute to the overall geological and mining efforts at the site.This role is offered on a 14/14-  FIFO from Perth.Key responsibilities will include:Design and monitor grade control drilling programs in the open pit.Present bench and blast reconciliations, optimizing the Blast Movement Process.Train Mine Geologists on creating dig plans to maximize recovery and minimize ore loss/dilution.Liaise with technical staff and contractors to ensure best drilling, blasting, and mining practices.Supervise ore extraction to maximize recovery and minimize ore loss/dilution.Manage sample QAQC data and report monthly.Validate and QAQC drilling data in Acquire and Leapfrog/Vulcan. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of production data.Collaborate with Geologists and Metallurgists on ROM ore stockpile management for optimal plant blend.Update production, survey, and drilling data in plans and sections.Assist in interpreting grade control data and producing models in relevant software. Key factors to your success include:Tertiary qualification in Geology (BSc. Job Description:
Vault Minerals is seeking an Open Pit Project Geologist for the King of the Hills Gold Mine.
