Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector Southwest deposits.
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, the Mine Geologist will be responsible for the underground grade control function of the deposit. You will ensure ore development is mined to optimise stope extraction and manage core logging and sampling of Grade Control drill programs. The role will also provide assistance in both the planning and implementation of drill programs, reconciliations and modelling of the deposit. This position offers the autonomy and opportunity to take ownership of various responsibilities in a small mine environment.
This position will be offered on a 14 :14 roster FIFO from Perth.
