Job Description: Vault Minerals is seeking a qualified Mine Engineer – Open Pit to join our team at the King of the Hills Gold Mine. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving the mine's operational success by designing and delivering effective open pit production plans. You will be responsible for the development of interim designs, ensuring the timely reporting and reconciliation of production targets, and contributing to the overall optimisation of the mining operation.This role is offered on a 8/6-  FIFO from Perth.Key responsibilities will include:Promote a culture of safety and performance, adhering to Vault Minerals' safety standards.Deliver practical short – term production plans aligned with budget and forecasts, including daily, weekly, and monthly (13 week) plansDevelop, maintain, and improve site data tracking, reconciliation, and reporting systems.Be responsible for developing and executing short term, interim pit designsProvide engineering support to geologists, mine surveyors, short-term planners, and contractors.Assist the mine manager in refining reporting systems and processes.Conduct conceptual planning for short- to medium-term scenarios and perform software/data analysis as needed.Monitor and improve engineering systems, business processes, and methods.Support the implementation of site initiatives, continuous improvement, and change management.Promote company values, policies, and procedures related to HR, OH&S, and environmental practices.Provide ongoing support for the mine manager and superintendent in operational activities.Contribute to the development and training of other engineers, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.Drive continuous improvement by researching and implementing new technologies and systems.Coordinate and oversee consultants and contractors to ensure safe, effective operations and compliance with business standards.About you:You are a results-driven mining professional with strong expertise in planning and execution.
