Job Description:
The HD Fitter’s core focus is to provide quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs of Heavy Diesel equipment as required to ensure operational targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.

This role will be offered on a FIFO or DIDO 2/2 Roster based at our Darlot Gold Mine Operation.

Point of hire: PERTH, WA

Key responsibilities will include:

• Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture & performance of Vault Minerals and ensures that Company values are adhered to at all times.
• Understand and comply with all operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations.
• Carrying out routine Mechanical Maintenance tasks including vehicle preparation, fitment and troubleshooting of HD plant systems.
• Assist in other areas of the operation as required ensuring operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant and efficient manner.

 Key factors to your success include:

• Trade qualifications - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Australian recognised)
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance technologies and equipment
• Ability to work in both workshop and underground environments.
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current and Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Experience in an underground maintenance environment is preferred
• HRWL - Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift Tickets (Desirable)
• Experience on Caterpillar Underground Loaders, Sandvik Production and Development drills Volvo articulated trucks and IT’s
