The Group H&S team operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing support from our South Perth office to lead key initiatives across our Darlot, King of Hills, Deflector, Rothsay, and Mount Monger operation sites.
THE ROLE:
The HST Systems Coordinator is a new position reporting to the Group Health and Safety Manager. The coordinator will coordinate the maintenance, improvement, and provision of software platforms for various sites and projects. Their role will assist in document control, event management, and learning management. Additionally, the Coordinator will establish effective reporting processes to facilitate data-driven decision-making and trend analysis.
This role will be offered on a Monday to Friday basis at our corporate office in South Perth with regular site visits.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Coordinate the function of document control for the operations/sites by assisting sites to set up, maintain and improve the SharePoint Platform.
- Provide technical advice for operations/sites to design and implement their SharePoint architecture and workflows for document management.
- Maintain INX module "InControl", including coordinating projects to improve the functionality of the platform and reporting functions.
- Coordinate activities that will encourage operations/projects to improve the quality of data entry into "InControl" resulting in better reporting outcomes.
- Facilitate the "end of month" cut off for data reporting in INX through recurring reminder communications with operations/sites and facilitate the "cleansing of data" by projects and data checks periodically prior to end of month.
- Build and maintain end of month reporting functions with a focus on automated good quality data for end of month reporting â examples LTIFR, SPIFR, AIFR at Group, Operation and Site level
- Build and maintain reporting capabilities within INX to be used for trend analysis both periodically and ad hoc
- Support the Group HS Manager in identifying and implementing report standardisation opportunities to minimise manual collation of reports, promoting report automation where practical.
- Maintain INX Learning Management functions (LMS) and provide support for projects to design and implement these systems that suit their operation/site
- Conduct training of key site personnel in Systems/QA functions to allow them to manage and maintain these functions at their operations/site.
- Maintain "Group" level induction/training resources and material within the LMS
- Optimise functions within the LMS that will provide the availability of better compliance reporting options/metrics
- Where required support auditing/compliance functions to be carried out at operations/sites by assisting with the formulation of schedules and pre audit communications.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Previous experience in working with H & S, Data, Key metrics, QA and systems environment
- Comprehension knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) features and functions.
- Able to coordinate small projects in conjunction with systems/software providers and stakeholders
- Capable of leading small group training sessions and comprehending training compliance metrics.
- Able Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite with strong computer literacy of safety & database management systems and INX suite.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- WA Driver’s License (manual C Class)
- Possess a solid understanding of SharePoint and Power BI.
