The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora, in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.Job Description:Vault Minerals is looking for a Geology Technician to join our team at the Darlot Gold Mine. This role is responsible for above ground technical work comprising of core processing, cutting, sampling, and lab submissions to external labs. The Geology Technician also assists with the development, implementation and improvement of systems, writing procedures and liaising with underground drilling contractors to ensure accuracy of data.This role is offered on a 14/14 roster-  FIFO from Perth.Key responsibilities will include:Promote and maintain a culture of safety, adhering to Vault Minerals' safety standards.Complete all tasks as required associated with Diamond, Percussion and Air core or Reverse circulation sample collection and management in line with Darlot QAQC protocols. If required, complete all tasks associated with underground sampling.Complete all tasks associated with the diamond drill core processing workflow. This includes quality control of core, correction of errors in core presentation and core block spacing, orientation lines, RQD, photography, metre marking, sampling, and despatch of coreEnsure accurate data entry of geological information daily, liaise with Geologists on the status of acQuire data for each drillhole.Weekly and monthly consumable stocktakes for the underground and core processing.Raise purchase requests and receipt invoices on behalf of Geology.  Consistently consider the financial impact of all purchase requisitions to proactively manage costs effectively.Actively participate in continuous improvement by analysing and reviewing existing systems and processes.Co-ordinate with the Drilling Crew/Contractor, for efficient management and quality of core delivery.Co-ordinate with the Assay Laboratories and Darlot Store regarding dispatches and dispatch qualityKey factors to your success include:3 years + experience in a similar roleAcquire software knowledge (desirable)Experience in gold (desirable)Excellent written and verbal communication skills4x4 wheel driving competencyForklift Licence (desirable)WA Driver’s Licence – C ClassAustralian Working Rights With an exciting future ahead, Vault Minerals is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining industry. Job Description:
Vault Minerals is looking for a Geology Technician to join our team at the Darlot Gold Mine. Key factors to your success include:

  • 3 years + experience in a similar role
  • Acquire software knowledge (desirable)
  • Experience in gold (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 4x4 wheel driving competency
  • Forklift Licence (desirable)
  • WA Driver’s Licence – C Class
  • Australian Working Rights
