The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector Southwest deposits. Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent will oversee a skilled team of Maintenance Planners, mechanical fitters, boilermakers, and electricians. This role involves supervising the maintenance of the plant, borefields, site infrastructure, and village. Additionally, you will focus on achieving budgetary objectives and providing feedback and guidance to senior management regarding maintenance issues.This is an exciting opportunity to join Deflector Processing and be integral to the success of the Processing Team by keeping the plant at optimal availability and reliability.This position will be offered on 8:6, 4:3 FIFO roster from Perth.Key responsibilities of this role will includeFormulate, develop and implement effective maintenance strategies for the areas of responsibility, and relevant to the equipment maintained.Maintain optimum output for the processing plant by ensuring effective Maintenance programs and breakdown response is achieved.Review maintenance practices and optimise where appropriate.Ensure Maintenance cost targets are met.Preparation and presentation of Maintenance reports.Implement maintenance schedules, and record maintenance activities accurately and in a timely manner.Take an active role in short and long term planning of Maintenance activities, including Crushing circuit and Mill shutdowns.Lead by example in demonstrating a hands-on approach to resolving maintenance issues. About You
