Spanning multiple gold mineralisation styles, this dynamic operation currently includes the Daisy Milano Underground Mine, the Santa, French Kiss and Flora Dora Open pit mines and the Randalls Gold Processing Facility.Reporting to the Mill Shift Supervisor, the Dewatering Technician, you play a crucial role in the efficient and effective management of water removal processes within various industrial and construction settings. Your primary responsibility involves the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of dewatering equipment to mitigate water-related challenges at Randalls Gold Processing Facility. You will work closely with project teams to ensure proper implementation of dewatering plans, contributing to the overall success of projects.This position will be offered on an 5:2 roster DIDO from Kalgoorlie. DIDO travel each day to and from your residential address in Kalgoorlie. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Daily oversight of the tailings deposition, borefields, and all other water system management, which includes:Tailings Deposition and spigot management.Supernatant pool management.Return water pump and line inspections/maintenance.Borefields return water management.Pump & genset service interval monitoring & management.Freshwater Dam return water management Process pond level management.Operate dewatering equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify and resolve issues while following safety protocols.Oversee and manage dewatering processes to ensure effective water removal from processing circuits. About You

  • Demonstrated experience in the mechanical maintenance of underground or open pit dewatering equipment, including submersible and surface pumps.
  •  Extensive knowledge of HDPE pipe, fittings and installation & maintenance of dewatering assets.
  • HDPE Butt Welding Ticket completed within the last 2 years
  • Hold qualification in Confined space, Work at heights, EWP, HRW Forklift Licence.
