The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora, in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.Reporting to the Underground Manager, the Alternate Underground Manager will be responsible for safely achieve the mine plan targets set out from three-month plan, budgets and re-forecasts, with the personnel and equipment available. The Alternate UG Manager will work a back-to-back roster with the Mining Manager for Darlot and will hold the statutory appointments of Alternate UG Manager and Alternate Site Senior Executive in the absence of the Mine Manager. Competencies should range through the areas of project & contract management, underground planning and design and the use of Deswik mine design software. The position will be offered on an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee Production and planning engineers to ensure that plans are designed and issued in accordance with the mine schedule.
