Silver Lake Resources is looking for a suitably qualified person to fulfill the position of Senior Process Operator at our Randalls Gold Processing Facility (RGPF) located approximately 60 kms south east of Kalgoorlie, with the ability and willingness to cover for Shift Supervisor or 2IC when required. Among the key responsibilities for this role include:Daily operation of process plant including crushing, grinding, CIL, elution and reagent circuits.Operate plant to its optimum performance level.Regularly communicate with Shift Supervisor for daily KPI’s and targets.Communicate relevant information and data to other personnel through formalised shift changes and use data reporting systems.Inspect the process regularly to ensure downtime is minimised.Maintain an exemplary standard of housekeeping.Actively monitor problem areas, rectify the process and report faults to the Shift Supervisor.Conduct low level maintenance checks effectively and efficiently.Act as a Trades Assistant to maintenance personnel during shutdownsOperate mobile equipment relevant to a metalliferous treatment plant.Conduct plant monthly, weekly and daily inspections, complete and submit accurate documentation in a timely manner.The successful applicant will require: A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a gold processing plant with CIL/CIPExperience in 3-stage crushing and 2-stage milling circuitsFamiliarity with elution circuits (AARL or Pressure Zadra processes)Valid WA Driver’s license (C class)Mobile equipment qualifications including IT Loader, telehandler, skid steer loader and excavator operationsWorking at heights, confined space entry and first aid qualifications The position is offered as a drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) Kalgoorlie based residential role on a rotating roster comprising: 8 days on followed by 6 days off then 7 nights on followed by 7 days off.As the position works a 12 hour shift, the incumbent will be required to reside in the Randall’s camp during their rostered work cycle.If this role sounds like the challenge you are looking for then please click ‘Apply now’ and follow the prompts.You must be an Australian citizen or hold a valid work visa to work in Australia to be eligible to apply for this position.Silver Lake’s preference is to deal with candidates directly and therefore agencies’ applications will not be considered at this stage.
