Working closely with a talented team of professionals, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your knowledge of underground narrow vein mining, with exposure to both new and historic mining fronts. Responsible for sampling and data capture in this dynamic Geologically-controlled deposit, you will play a key part in providing guidance to mining activities, tracking reconciliation and optimising ore production.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Undertake underground mapping and sampling to minimise ore loss and dilution and increase the geological understanding of the depositCoordination of Underground diamond drilling programmesRegular communication with the underground mining team to optimise UG ore productionDaily and weekly production tracking and reporting and assisting with EOM reconciliationAssisting with developing and maintaining geological models through geological mappingDevelop collaborative working relationships with other departments, contractors and colleagues alikeUpdating the database with geological and assay informationUndertaking geological data validationAbout YouYou are a collaborative and motivated individual, who has fantastic interpersonal skills and shares our passion for excellence.
