You will work closely with the site and Perth-based teams to provide technical expertise, Geological information and mineral resource models, which will enable effective mine optimisation and planning. You will also evaluate future business development opportunities and prospects for the Group, conducting thorough due diligence as part of the Corporate Development team.Key responsibilities of the role include:Complete thorough, accurate and timely estimates of company Mineral ResourcesUndertake 3D geological modelling, geostatistical analysis and variography to appropriate level required for the estimation processEnsure compliance with JORC Resource Reporting requirementsSign off as Competent Person for Mineral Resources as requiredWork closely with Exploration team to ensure planning of efficient and effective drill programmes for resource definitionCollaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across Engineering, Metallurgy and GeologyProvide data and figures for corporate presentations, ASX releases and reports as requiredEnsure QA/QC for resource data and modelling is managed appropriately across all projectsProvide technical input into life of mine design optimisationUndertake geological due diligence and evaluation of Mineral Resources for exploration, joint venture, merger or acquisition growth initiativesCompile Mineral Resources for desktop, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for target projects within Silver Lake’s portfolioProvide mentoring and technical support to site-based Resource Development Geologists ABOUT YOU You are a self-motivated and meticulous Resource Geologist who is driven to exceed expectations, and who thrives on collaboration with other like-minded professionals.
