Silver Lake Resources is looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our Open Pits complex at our Mount Monger Operations. This role will work an 7/7/7 roster.The operation comprises of multiple small hard rock gold pits as an owner-miner utilising a dry hire fleet under an EHM contract, and contract drilling.Key responsibilities of this role include:Ensuring safe operation and environmental performance of the mine as per statutory requirements and Company PolicyTraining, mentoring and coaching operators to achieve high levels of performance.Ensuring every team member understands the requirements of their job and providing continuous feedback on their performance.Meeting mine production targets including BCM/shift.Ensuring earthmoving machinery is utilised efficiently and consistent with good operating practice.Identifying and follow up opportunities to ensure efficient mining.The successful candidate will be able to meet the following selection criteria:At least 5 years’ experience working in a similar roleDiploma in Surface Operations Management (desirable).Current unencumbered C/HR Western Australian Drivers LicenceSatisfactory National Police Clearance CertificateValid work visa, permanent residency or Australian citizenshipRestricted Quarry Manager certificate (Desirable)Please address each of the above criteria in your cover letter.
