Silver Lake Resources is looking for a suitably qualified person to fulfil the position of Process Operator 2IC at our Randalls Gold Processing Facility (RGPF) located approximately 60 kms south east of Kalgoorlie. The role is important for maintaining production targets, ensuring statutory compliance and improving performance against the MMO Safety Management Plan and Hazard Standard requirements. We are looking for Kalgoorlie residents to fill this role, however whilst on roster (8/6 days, 7/7 nights) you will be required to reside in the Randall’s camp. FIFO will not be considered. Among the key responsibilities for this role include:Daily operation of process plant including crushing, grinding, CIL, elution and reagent circuits.Ensuring all activities are conducted an accordance with safe work practices and legislative complianceAssisting with daily supervision of process crewEnsuring daily, weekly and monthly production targets are metMonitoring and controlling of treatment plant activitiesEnsuring all activities are conducted an accordance with safe work practices and legislative complianceTraining process crew members in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures The successful applicant will require;At least 5 years’ experience in a gold processing plant with CIL/CIPExperience in 3-stage crushing and 2-stage milling circuitsFamiliarity with elution circuits (AARL or Pressure Zadra processes)Exposure to gold room operations, gravity concentration and recoveryWA Driver’s licenseMobile equipment qualifications including IT Loader, telehandler, skid steer loader and excavator operationsWorking at heights, confined space entry and first aid qualifications are advantageousThe position is offered as a drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) Kalgoorlie based residential role on a rotating roster of 8 days on followed by 6 days off, then 7 nights on followed by 7 days off.As the position requires a 12 hour working day, the incumbent will be required to reside in the Randall’s camp during their rostered work cycle.If this role sounds like the challenge you are looking for then please click ‘Apply now’ and follow the prompts.You must be an Australian citizen or hold a valid work visa to work in Australia to be eligible to apply for this position.Silver Lake’s preference is to deal with candidates directly and therefore agencies applications will not be considered at this stage.
